DEMOCRACY to DICTATORSHIP: Hitler's fast path to Power

How did Hitler convert Germany from a democracy to a dictatorship in 53 days?

1. LOOPHOLES: Hitler converted Germany’s constitutional republic (same government system used in the United States) to an autocratic dictatorship in 53 days by exploiting gaps in Germany’s own constitution.

2. COLLABORATORS: Hitler worked with co-conspirators to help exploit weaknesses in German law.

3. GERRYMANDERING: Manipulation and misrepresentation of democratic votes in order to gain electoral victory even when he failed to gain a majority of votes.

4. GASLIGHTING: Hitler convinced his opponents to agree with him.

5. OVERPOWERING: Legal brakes and balances were ignored and overpowered.

6. CENSORSHIP: Opponents lost their voice, their ideas, and thus their ability to organize and resist when even communicating resistance became illegal.

USA’s government is openly using fascist-Nazi phrases and symbolism as the Executive branch led by Trump and Miller now declare that the new paramilitary group that is now killing and detaining/kidnapping American citizens has complete legal immunity (see video below).

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem ignited a firestorm after appearing at a press conference behind a podium displaying “One of Ours, All of Yours” shortly after Renee Good’s tragic death. Social media erupted, branding the slogan a Nazi-era call for collective punishment, akin to reprisals during World War II. The phrase evokes the Lidice Massacre in June 1942, where Nazis retaliated for Reinhard Heydrich’s assassination by wiping out the Czech village. SS forces shot nearly all men over 14, sent women to Ravensbrück camp, and scattered children—some gassed at Chełmno, others Germanized. They then razed the site, killing about 340 in a symbol of terror tactics.²

USA has 267 MILLION ADULTS and 500 MILLION FIREARMS among those adults for roughly 2 firearms for each adult in the civilian population. The probability of an attack that leads to counterattack which leads to a massacre (an indiscriminate and brutal slaughter of many people) and then martial law or revolution is statistically significant at this moment and for the foreseeable future.
