…because presumably Americans were too uneducated and ignorant to understand what this actually meant. So the irony here is that the same government who provided your pathetic education is now using your education against you in order to keep you ignorant about the genetic modification of your food. This is using the logical fallacy of “blaming the victim“ but in this case their use of this fallacy has consequences for the food you eat on a daily basis in the United States.
