Here, I explain my multiyear disdain for Bloom’s taxonomy, why I think it is an indoctrination trap that produces obedient drones—great if you want robotic workers who follow rules and dole out the desired performance product but horrible if you want customization and adaptation to an ever-changing future. The system performs at it was designed: to limit thought to only the approved ideas and narrow range of considerations.
