In the process of critiquing then editing my video review of the 2016-2024 PBS-NYT hit-piece against vitamins, nutritional supplements and the entire nutrition industry, I am seeing that it was part of a coordinated effort to slander the entire nutritional industry and the practice of progressive/modern clinical nutrition; their 2016 video also includes an attack against natural fish oil, which had to be demonized in order to then gain FDA-approval in 2018 for a new prescription-only $300-per-month fish oil product.
This PBS-NYT hit-piece was originally published in 2016, then republished in 2024. We have to ask why it was published then, and why it was re-published in 2024.
What was happening in 2016-2018 that prompted this coordinated effort between public television, New York Times, and the pharmaceutical industry?
Amazingly, this PBS-NYT hit-piece includes an attack on natural fish oil and a promotion of prescription-only fish oil in 2016 even though the supporting bogus research on this topic would not be published until 2018. This must be interpreted as a coordinated behind-the-scenes effort to shape public opinion by foreshadowing (eg, “predictive programming”) what was about to happen a few years later.
Is American public television being hijacked by private interests to promote private profiteering from drug sales?
I’ll let you figure this one out, check the hint below.
What is happening in 2024 that prompted them to republish this attack-piece against nutritonal supplementation?
I’ll let you figure this one out, check the 2 hints below.
