Reply VIDEO: Intracellular infections with Chlamydia (Chlamydophila) pneumoniae, antibody response to measles vaccine in Autism, herpes virus in Alzheimer’s disease
And other things we never talked about in Microbiology or Pathology in medical school or hospital training
QUESTION (RC):
“I think intracellular parasites but you know better than me, also what are the protocols for intracellular parasites?”
Thanks for your explanation, I was thinking also about zoonotic diseases and intracellular chlamydia.
REPLIES (AV):
"Zoonotic diseases" is a huge category that includes viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites such as worms/helminths; as such, it is a massive topic. See previous reply on intracellular infections (with video) from 5Jan2023.
Intracellular chlamydia is a more manageable topic and one that I can review/update per the information in Inflammation Mastery, page 918-919 which includes my own laboratory results and treatment with antibiotics. It is also discussed in various other areas such as pages 398, 441 which can be found also via digital search if you have the digital version.
