WINNING STRATEGIES: You can win only if…
The first step in winning at a given game is to know the rules of the game and then master that structured interaction with specific strategies and tactics honed with analysis and practice.
However, the caveat here is that one can never win if the enemy controls all the rules and can change or manipulate or bend those rules at any whim, because at that point the so-called “rules” aren’t really rules and thereby become completely meaningless. Unilateral/unenforced “rules” actually restrain and drain the person who honors the illusion/façade of those rules with integrity.
If I challenge you to a winner-take-all match of tennis but then change the tournament to chess followed by mixed martial arts (after you spent the previous weeks/months preparing for tennis), then you are almost certain to lose, regardless of how diligently you trained to beat me at tennis; even if you were moderately good at chess and martial arts, the disorientation alone would weaken your game and put you at a major disadvantage.
Now imagine the rules and agreements changing every hour of every day for the past two years and you’ll see why the international community is constantly paralyzed and perpetually ineffective. Peaceful protests of a few thousand people at your nation’s capitol won’t change the behavior of a billionaire busy with a television interview that will influence 300,000,000 viewers and the 20 politicians that have been bribed to write laws (or fail to enforce restrictions) that benefit profiteering billionaires, drug companies, and the technology companies that hear your conversations, influence your newsfeed, and censor/deplatform you when you start to think independently.
Americans used to think they had “freedom of speech” but they learned very quickly in recent years that the technology companies will censor them (and their elected politicians!) and ban them from speaking to an audience if they say anything that disagrees with the dominant narrative and power structure. Here again we have the mismatch of categorical thinking: you think you have “legal rights” but technology companies don’t care about your Enlightenment-derived rights so they will openly violate them, apparently to no consequence. You’re thinking “legal rights” but social media companies act with “unbridled collusion/profiteering” which is why they can trample your rights while making billions of dollars in profit while they are shielded by bribed politicians who you thought were there to protect your rights

People engaged in perpetuating corruption and in protecting the privilege that corruption gives them have no interest in your science or your logic. You can talk to your esteemed professorial peers all day long and you can continue to publish research but people who are cheating the system couldn’t care less about your logic, your personal merit, nor the merits and strengths of your brilliantly-constructed arguments.

If they were sufficiently conscientious and intelligent to play by the rules, then you wouldn’t have corruption and deception causing the problems in the first place. So using logic and the scientific method against people who eat and breathe corruption is a failing strategy. You are wasting time while your enemy beats you bloody and mocks you.
They actually use your intelligence and honesty against you. You are bound by logic, clarity, evidence, and transparency. Every time you present your position, they see how to subvert and bypass you because they don’t adhere to the rules of logic, clarity, evidence, and transparency.

Your care and your conscientiousness are used against you because while you are being careful, your enemies have already jumped ahead two moves; no matter how good you think you are at chess, your enemy will win if he gets two moves per each one of yours. Logic takes time; shape-shifting and deception occur without any need for planning or study.

Sometimes you have to stop trying to be right and let your anger, sadness and frustration lead you down in contemplative path of realization that you’re either fighting the right battle with the wrong tools (eg, you need to find a way to beat the virus) or you’re fighting the wrong battle (corruption) with the wrong tools (category error).
You certainly can effectively use vitamins and antiviral drugs against a viral infection, but not against a sociopolitical conspiracy. If the current international pandemic were solely a legitimate viral infection, we would have already solved it based on many different interventions that are supported by an abundance of biological plausibility and peer-reviewed clinical research. But nutrition, lifestyle and antiviral drugs have never ended a single international collusion among political and financial collaborators.

Political corruption ends when corrupt politicians are removed from their positions of power and are held accountable for their crimes. If your strategy to fight against political corruption does not include removal and accountability, then you will never make progress against political corruption nor its hurtful consequences.

International conspiracies are brought to an end after the political protections have been removed and the legal-justice system dismantles the systems (eg, with antitrust laws) and penalizes the individual people who perpetuated the crimes. You cannot dismantle international corruption until you have effectively addressed corruption at the national level; otherwise, you will have no legal-justice system to do that level of work (eg, international courts and tribunals).

How I learned this by experiences in sports and academia
I learned all of this through my personal experiences, mostly in academics (professionally) but also in sports (personally). Dealing with the US Department of Education about institutional theft and money laundering by school administrators garners no attention because financial corruption is supposedly corralled by the State Attorney General and Department of Justice. Talking with the Department of Justice about corruption at a university receives no attention because they will defer that problem to the Department of Education. Talking with the regional accreditation commission that gives the university its accreditation to function as a school and to receive taxpayer funding receives no attention because the regional accreditation commissions are funded by the same schools that pay them for accreditation; therefore, if the accreditation commission were to penalize one of its own schools then the people running the accreditation charade wouldn’t be able to pay themselves $400,000 per year for rolling their pencils on their desks.
This is why American education is becoming a façade and bad joke:
The Department of Education won’t deal with “financial corruption”,
The Department of Justice won’t deal with “educational matters”,
The regional creditors (privatized organizations that may consist of only a handful of individual people) aren’t going to penalize a school that pays them a fat salary for shuffling papers, periodically regurgitating words like “pedagogy” and name-dropping “Bloom's taxonomy.”
But you can see how the corruption and incompetence are protected at the national and state levels by the Department of Education and Department of Justice because each Department simply re-categorizes the problem so that the problem falls out of the office’s purview (scope of responsibility).
Being a power-lifter didn’t make me good at martial arts because the rules and strategies are very different. Chess has little carry-over into tennis and almost none into masonry and construction. Winning in any sphere requires mastery of that sphere, but only if the sphere itself is defined and constant. Being a great virologist is worthless if the profiteers can get you fired from your job and then blocked from internet communications.
