My question then is, if the antibodies produced in response to the vaccine do not neutralize the encapsulated virus. Are these antibodies now involved in the ADE response in the body of so many people? If so, could this be part of the “ long Covid “ issues occurring in vaccinated people. Long Covid is happening to those that had Covid and no vaccine as well. Why? What can a person do with long Covid?
That’s a really great set of questions and one that certainly requires distinction between the three different types of physiologic and pathophysiologic responses that you mentioned: neutralization, enhancement, and complications. I’ll have to work on that one for a while and get back to you when I’m back at the computer and can provide some citations. With regard to the last question that you asked, I think the best answers are going to be anti-inflammation, anticoagulation/thrombosis, hyperbaric oxygen and perhaps plasma exchange/ plasmapheresis.
