Yeah I think they’re just in transition right now. According to the little I’ve read about it, Elon Musk is trying to get rid of some of the old staff members who were doing the censorship. I have no idea why they put that limit on my account but they sent me a message the following day saying they had to “verify my identity” which is among the type of dumb things that they say when they’re just trying to block someone’s account. I sent out a message this morning and I think the account is now functioning again.
That’s interesting. I’m glad that you’re unblocked. It would be very problematic if someone like you was blocked on the platform.
I hope Elon can improve how social media handles “free speech”. It’s clearly a complex issue where the solution isn’t just to let anyone anonymously say anything without any potential consequence. But social media has clearly championed certain agendas over others - and that’s a big problem.
Why do you think it got your account suspended?
