Human society traditionally grows from individuals, families, extended family, to unrelated mentors, to groups. Now however, most families are dysfunctional, and mentors don't exist, leaving children largely empty except for:
"formal education" which is mostly indoctrination and/or profiteering but without any concern for developing and flourishing children into healthy adults, and
entertainment, music, comics, movies, and mostly-imbecilic "influencers."
