DrV, I thank you for all of your work. I wondered if you would point me in the right direction on the topic of Kyleena IUD. My young adult daughter has been advised to have it implanted and, when researching, we can’t differentiate between corporate propaganda and real research when trying to find effects. If you know of someone knowledgeable in the world of women’s contraceptions, hormone effects, etc, I would greatly appreciate it. 🙏
Hi Dr V thanks so much for the pointers/advice on renal care. I start watching my ph. Question on the low carb Mediterranean nutrition protocol- Do I base my protein amount on my actual overweight poundage or on the desired weight? So if I base it on my current weight, it’s 130 grams of protein daily.... how do I figure the fat & carbs grams to use as a guideline? If I focus on low carbs, say 75 grams to lose weight.... how do I actually eat enough vegs, fruits & nuts to get the phytonutrients, etc? Or bananas for potassium? Do I let the carbs creep up and the fat go down? What is best approach? Thanks! I understand not to be strict on the exact numbers, but some pointers would be great.
