Viral Mutations and Selenium Deficiency
Chinese researchers solved the problem of pandemic viral infection mutations more than 20 years ago with research clinically proven among nearly 2 MILLION people; why is this information being ignored
What is a viral mutation?
DrV: A change in viral structure/function due to a survivable genetic/DNA/RNA damage
What causes viral mutation, or genetic mutation in general?
DrV: The most common causes are 1) random errors, 2) oxidative damage, or 3) chemical exposure (especially in animals with Cp450 systems) that results in direct binding of chemicals to DNA called intercalation
Most common and relevant biochemical cause of genetic mutation in viruses:
DrV: Appears to be free-radical damage i.e., oxidative stress caused by oxidant imbalance, antioxidant insufficiency
Given that the most common correctable cause of viral mutation is free radical / oxidative damage, then what is a reasonable and clinically-proven solution to the problem of human viral infections caused by mutated viruses?
DrV: antioxidant supplementation
Has this been proven?
DrV: yes, in 1) clinical trials, 2) exemplary proof-of-concept reports, and 3) population-wide public health interventions
How long have we had this information?
DrV: for at least 20 years, since at least the year 2000/2001
Why aren’t politicians and the mass media informing the public of this safe, effective, affordable, and proven intervention?
DrV: politicians and reporters are ignorant about health, medicine, nutrition, and these advaced concepts; additionally and perhaps worse is that politicians and reporters are paid by the pharmaceutical industry to ignore this data, to avoid honest inquiry, and to shun and censor experts with advanced knowledge
How can we describe the use of selenium supplementation to combat viral mutations and infections?
DrV: as follows:
