[VIDEO] People and Works of Major Influence in my Work and Life (1) Zeitgeist 2007
The movie Zeitgeist 2007 (provided below) clarifies much of the smoke and mirrors around 1) religion, 2) government corruption, false flag events, 3) America’s privatized money system
If I had to make an impromptu list of the most important books/authors/movies/teachers that have had the biggest and most durable paradigm-shifting impacts on my intellectual and work life, that list would read as follows with additional details that I will provide in future essays:
Robert Bly and John Bradshaw—for their ability to explain emotional occurrences, especially the invisible events in family and society
Nietzsche and his best explainer Professor Richard Schacht, specifically in the audiocassette in the Giants of Philosophy series.
I still remember the day and almost the moment that I bought this audiocassette from the Barnes and Noble bookstore location along the Burke-Gilman Trail in Seattle; it was a beautiful sunny day in late September 1999 (a Wednesday as I recall) as I biked from my basement apartment in the Greenwood neighborhood toward and beyond University of Washington…
Nathaniel Branden for his brilliant lucidity in Six Pillars and Psychology of Self-Esteem
Noam Chomsky in his many books, lectures, and his work that was summarized in Manufacturing Consent—he consistently documented the political corruption of the American government, its control of the media
My virtual “professors” Les Brown and Denis Waitley PhD who helped motivate me when I was in my teens and earliest 20s
The audiocassettes of Denis Waitley PhD were an important gift that I received from my father
My actual professors William R Gould PT PhD (anatomy), Keith Innes DC (chiropractic) and Jeffrey Bland PhD (functional medicine) and probably Alan Gaby MD (nutrition)
The book Paradigm Conspiracy, which I just recently unpacked from our boxes from Europe and which I will discuss soon in more detail and impact
The documentary Zeitgeist 2007 (provided below from various sources) clarifies much of the smoke and mirrors around 1) religion, 2) government corruption, false flag events, 3) America’s privatized money system, and 4) what we might do to move forward to a better society. The film is—of course—somewhat theatrical and that is how it keeps the attention of the viewer for 2 hours; I’ll leave you to judge its merit and any errors1
The music of Strunz and Farah
Henry Rollins’ book One from None and several of his teen-appropriate spoken word recordings
zeitgeist noun, often capitalized: the general intellectual, moral, and cultural climate of an era. “Scholars have long maintained that each era has a unique spirit, a nature or climate that sets it apart from all other epochs. In German, such a spirit is known as Zeitgeist, from the German words Zeit, meaning "time," and Geist, meaning "spirit" or "ghost."2

I think the discussion/interview section at the end that discusses the illegality of IRS/taxes is not accurate
